Scheduling in Expert Mode

In Expert Mode however, more advanced scheduling options are available.

You can check the box Enable Scheduler and specify the date and time of the first backup session. In addition, you can check the box Repeat and specify the time when the backup session should repeat.

You can select Every day, if you want the data to be backed up daily.

If you want the backup to repeat on a certain week day/-s, check the box On week days and specify upon which days of the week the backup should repeat.

If you want the backup to be launched on a certain day/-s of the month, select this option and specify which day/-s.

Besides, you can make the backup repeat over a certain period of time regularly.
To specify the time period, check Custom period and enter the values.

Use the arrows to change digits in the days, hours, minutes fields.

Sometimes Office Backup may be unable to perform the backup task on schedule. This can happen because the computer is turned off at the time the backup is scheduled. Check the box Run the missed schedules, if you want Office Backup to execute missed tasks.

The two more boxes here are Run on logon and Run on logoff. When checked, Office Backup will execute assigned tasks when the user is logged on/off.

Another scheduling option available in Expert Mode is Execute this task immediately. It can be selected in the last step of the New Task Wizard: Name the Backup task. If you wish to execute the task right after its creation, check the corresponding box. The box is at the bottom of the window.
