Context Menus

 

There are three types of context menus in Office Backup - one for each pane of the main program window.

 

Items View Context Menu

 

This context menu contains a number of options to work with your items.

 

 

New item..: Select this to create a new item.

Duplicate: Use to create an identical copy or several copies of the given item. Such copies will appear in the Items View, their names will contain words and symbols "Copy #.. of...". For example, for the item named "My documents" you can create "Copy #1 of My documents", "Copy #2 of My documents", etc.

Actions:  Allows performing operations with the selected item.

  • Backup: You can perform a backup of the selected item.

  • Restore: You can perform a restoration of the selected item.

  • Synchronize: You can perform a synchronization of the selected item.

 

The menu will display the number of icons corresponding to a number of possible operations - e.g., if you created only Backup items, you can backup and restore data, so the menu will display the backup and restore icons. If no items were created, no operation icons will be displayed.

Refresh: Use to see the current state of your items and files/folders. Changes made to your items or files/folders will be displayed in the corresponding program windows.

Execute: Initiates operations with your item (backup, restoration or synchronization).

Stop: Stops the current operation with item (backup, restoration or synchronization).  

Delete: Deletes the selected item. 

Properties: Allows viewing or changing properties of the selected item.

 

Files View Context Menu

 

This context menu allows you to operate with the files/folders included in your item.

 

 

Include Files: Allows to including the files previously excluded from the given item.

Exclude Files: Allows to excluding the files previously included in the given item.

 

You can perform the required operations (backup, restoration, synchronization) with the selected files through the Files View context menu.

In the Items View, locate an item with the required files with the mouse pointer, and then in the Files View locate these files and right-click on them with the mouse. Select the required operation in the Files View context menu.

 

Colors..: Allows customizing font colors denoting different file statuses.

 

Log View Context Menu

 

This context menu allows you to manage the log messages.

 

 

Save Log..: Saves the log entry to the selected destination.
