Choose Compression Type: Select a compression type.

   No compression: All files will be backed up "as is", i.e., without compression.  

   ZIP compression (single file): Creates a single ZIP file with all your data. Note that the whole archive size should not exceed 2 Gb.

When you use the single zip file compression and backup onto several CDs (i.e. when you use disc spanning), the archive names will remain unique. For instance, if you specify "MUSIC.zip" for the archive name, Office Backup will create files named "MUSIC(XXXX).zip" on different discs, where X is a hexadecimal digit and XXXX is span number for a disc.

 

ZIP compression (multiple files): Compresses every file to a separate ZIP archive. Note that each individual compressed file size should not exceed 2 Gb.

Tip: Use the multiple files compression:

• if you need to restore only the selected files (this is impossible in case of the single ZIP file compression);

• if you need to perform an incremental backup;

• if you use the "Delete all files from the destination except those being backed up" option (it can not be applied to the single ZIP mode).

ZIP archive name: Here you can edit the default name for your ZIP archive (if you have chosen the single ZIP file compression).

Compression quality: Choose the compression quality for your data. The higher the compression quality is, the better your data is compressed. However, note that high compression quality increases the time required for the compression.

Encrypt with blowfish method: The program will encrypt your files with the blowfish method, a highly secure 128-bit encryption algorithm.

Password: Type in your password. Make sure you remember your password.

Confirm password: Re-enter your password to make sure you typed it correctly.
