Opera Backup. Opera Mail Backup.
 Opera Mail (or Opera M2) is an e-mail and news client built into the Opera web browser. You should regularly do the Opera backup and Opera Mail backup to prevent your important data from loss.
How to back up Opera files?
To do Opera data backup:
- launch Novosoft Office Backup
- create New Task
- select "Backup task"
- add the required files to the backup set.
The Opera files location is:
C:\Documents and Settings\your_username\Application Data\Opera
You may also specify the Opera file extensions in Step 2 of the New Task Wizard: What to back up (Expert Mode) and Novosoft Office Backup will find all the Opera files automatically and back them up quickly and hassle free.

You can backup the following Opera files and folders:
- Mail: mail folder
- Skins: skin folder
- Plug-ins: program\plug-ins\ folder
- Keyboard, Mouse, Menu, Toolbar configurations:
keyboard, mouse, menu and toolbar folders
- Bookmarks: opera6.adr
- Contacts: contacts.adr
- General settings: opera6.ini
- Notes: notes.adr
- Personal certificates: opcert6.dat
- Certificate authorities: opcacrt6.dat
- Wand data: wand.dat
- Cookies: cookies4.dat
- Global history: global.dat
- Visited links: vlink4.dat
- Download history: download.dat
Opera Mail supports the POP3 protocol, so you can back up incoming messages directly from the mail server. More about e-mail backup via POP3 you can find here.
